Testosterone is the male sex hormone made in the testicles. In puberty, it helps boys develop body and facial hair, deeper voices and muscle mass. Basically it helps turn boys into men.
Although testosterone levels gradually drop in a man after age 40, a sudden drop is not normal and can cause a variety of symptoms. They include:
· Reduced sex drive
· Erectile dysfunction (ED)
· Loss of body hair
· Decreased energy
· Osteoporosis (thinning bones)
· Brain Fog
