Male Infertility |
|
Male infertility may be caused by hormone disorders, illness, injury, an obstruction or a varicocele. Disorders that affect the sperm can also result in male infertility. Treatment depends upon the cause of infertility. Diagnostic tests include blood tests, physical examination (to detect abnormalities) and semen analysis to determine presence of sperm, their numbers, shape and motility (ability to swim).
